Currently SBS only installs the water tank rainwater harvesting system as it's the most cost-effective solution.

We offer a range of vertical above ground tanks that can collect anything from 260 litres to 20,000 litres, depending on roof area and available space for the actual tank.

Cape Town has an average rainfall of 475mm annually or 39,6mm per month. Each millimetre of rainfall accumulates to 1 litre of rainwater per m2 of roof area.

An average house in Cape Town has 240m2 of roof area which could essentially harvest 114,000 litres of water every year.

This water could be used for irrigating your garden, filling your pool, washing your car, and filling water features and fish ponds.
